Frederick J. Ross

Our beloved father Frederick “Fred” Ross died on Saturday, October 2 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Bauer Ross. They raised us, Gregory, Lynn, Tracey, and Fred in North Plainfield and then retired to the Poconos.

He served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Marines. Dad was always volunteering and helped so many! He was a member of the Grand Masons, Jerusalem Lodge #26, the Marine Corps League, the Italian American Club, and was a Boy Scout leader.

He retired from AT&T, but spent many years as a boilermaker. He was also a die-hard Yankees fan and enjoyed hunting and woodworking.

He will be missed by many. A memorial service will be planned in the coming months.
