Frederick Kuhl

Frederick Kuhl, age 80 years, of Media, PA, died Monday, December 28, 2020, at Granite Farms Estates, Media, PA, where he had resided for the past four years. Born in Three Bridges, NJ, October 23, 1940, he was the son of the late Russell and Hermione Barth Kuhl. Fred had resided all his life in Hunterdon County before moving to Media. He was a 1959 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ, where he was a member of the wrestling team. Fred was a longtime member of the Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church of Ringoes, NJ, where he also served as an elder and Sunday School teacher. He was a lifelong rugmaker especially of latch hook rugs which he made for all his children and grandchildren. Fred also volunteered at the Lambertville Food Pantry and was an avid Mets fan. He was pre-deceased by his sisters, Laura Bieber and Kathryn Kuhl. Surviving are his wife of fifty-six years, Irene Van Lieu Kuhl; a son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Kimberly Kuhl of Wilmington, DE; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Wayne Lamp of Reading, PA, and Elaine and Christopher Aber of Quakertown, PA; his sister, Sallyann Prall of Lambertville, NJ; his aunt, Violet Scheuring of Wilmington, DE; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ, will follow under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
