Frederick Michael Ubel

Frederick Michael Ubel, at the age of 42 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, surrounded by his family, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia PA. Fred was born in Somerville NJ on September 19,1979, resided in New Jersey his entire life. He is predeceased by his father Frederick Ubel and mother Marilyn Marie Wenzel Ubel. Fred started his beloved career at Jone's Farm in 2014 as a Dairy Worker and then was promoted to Farm Manager until he unfortunately had to resign in 2021 due to his heart condition. It was his favorite job for a few reasons; his coworkers and the cows. He loved tending to the cows more than anything, he had few favorites and would always come home sharing stories of the day's events. His love of animals extended beyond cows. Within his short life he rescued several dogs, saved a few exotic animals along the way, and somehow found room in his life for a rabbit too. Like his mother, Fred enjoyed cooking and was a lover of food. He spent hours scouring the internet for his next concoction. The odds were good that you could find him in the kitchen making meals for himself and family. Only then to see him drench what he just made in hot sauce because he liked the heat. Fred's personality was as large as life. He was a kind and caring soul. If you were his friend, you knew it. He would do anything for the ones he loved and cared about. His personality set him apart, you could always count on him for a laugh and you'd wait for the next 'one liner'. A life taken from this world way too soon. To know Fred was to love him. Rest in peace. Surviving is his sister, Jennifer Ubel of Kingwood Township, NJ. and a long list of extended family and friends that will miss him dearly.
