Frederick Petry

Frederick Petry, age 65 years, of Ringoes NJ, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home.

Born in Trenton NJ, April 22, 1953, Rick was the son of the late W. Frederick and Anna Gerfelder Petry. He had resided in Ringoes for the past six years, after previously living in Plainsboro NJ for several years.

Rick owned and operated Windsor Woodcare, a power washing and deck restoration firm until he retired. He also once owned and operated Petry Moving & Storage Relocation Associates. At one time, he was a computer programmer for TSNS.

A graduate of Colorado State University, Rick was an adventurer, who’s hobbies included scuba diving, fishing, horseback riding, tracking his Lotus, skydiving, flying, and golf.

He was a member of the New Jersey Astronomical Association and the Lotus Motor Club.

Surviving are his wife, Judith L. Mander Petry; a sister, Carole Kuehn of Princeton NJ; two brothers-in-law, Bob Mander and Tony Mander; a sister-in-law, Frances Lordon; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery in Trenton NJ. Calling hours will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
