Freida "Polly" Van Fleet

Freida "Polly" Van Fleet, age 84 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died Monday, March 8, 2004 in Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, NJ.

Born in Darts Mills, NJ (Readington Township), October 14, 1919, daughter of the late Gabriel and Bessie Ellen Latourette Hall, she had resided in Readington Township most of her life.

She was formerly employed at the Lace Mill, Darts Mill, NJ and later employed in the cafeteria at Hunterdon Central High School retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Three Bridges Reformed Church, Three Bridges, NJ.

Her husband, LeRoy Van Fleet, died in 2000. Surviving are three sons, Wayne Van Fleet of Pittstown, NJ, Larry Van Fleet of Flemington, NJ, and Gary Van Fleet of Houston, TX; three brothers, Alfred Hall of Flemington, NJ, Jack Hall of Hopewell, NJ, and James Hall of Trenton, NJ; six grandchildren and seven great-grandhcildren. She was predeceased by four sisters and seven brothers.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday from 7-9 p.m.
