Gail Faltings

Gail Faltings, age 80, died Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township NJ.

Born October 5, 1942, in Philadelphia PA, Gail was the daughter of the late Robert Leroy and Anna Mae (Morton) Knapp. She lived for many years outside of Philadelphia in Springfield PA and Upper Darby PA before moving to Piscataway NJ and Asbury NJ and eventually lived the rest of her life in Clinton NJ.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Elizabethtown College (PA) and her Master’s Degree in Education from Seton Hall University in South Orange NJ. She worked for a short time as a school teacher before stopping to raise her family. Eventually, she received her degree and became a licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and went to work for and retired from the Hunterdon Drug Awareness program in Flemington where she was a Substance Abuse Counselor.

Gail always had a wild spirit and owned many fast, American muscle cars like Firebirds and Camaros. She enjoyed trips with her husband, the late Robert E. Faltings Sr., where the two traveled to favorite places like Alaska and Aruba. She enjoyed camping with her family, with trips up and down the east coast, from Maine to Florida, and many sunny days spent at Ocean City NJ. Gail loved music and attending concerts, especially the Bethlehem (PA) Music Fest every chance she could.

Gail was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Faltings, Sr. in 2002 and is survived by her two daughters, Caroline Tuttle of Charlton MA, and Dawn L. Faltings and her fiancé, Duane Gulick, her sister, Leslie Byers of Glen Mills PA, her six grandchildren, Alicia Padolsky (Craig) of Irvine CA, Nicholas Tuttle of Flemington NJ, Samantha Tuttle of Martinsville NJ, Zachary Tuttle of Piscataway NJ, Alexandra Lundquist of Charlton MA and Dawson Gulick of Whitehouse Station NJ, as well as her five great-grandchildren and several nieces.
