Gail Papenfuhs

Gail Papenfuhs, age 76 years, of Pittstown, NJ, died Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Teaneck, NJ, April 5, 1940, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Donnelly Erdmann, she had formerly resided in Boonton, NJ and had resided in the Pittstown area for twenty-three years.

Gail was formerly a dental office manager for Dr. Suchow, Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Gail was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Flemington, NJ where she formerly taught Vacation Bible School. She was also a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Boonton Fire Co. and was a volunteer for several years at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, NJ

A son, Dennis Zanone, died in 2009.

Surviving are her husband of sixteen years, Arnold Papenfuhs; two sons, Joseph Zanone of San Jose, CA and James Zanone of Puerto Rico; a daughter, Patricia Jubelt of Rutherford, NJ; two stepchildren, Matthew Papenfuhs and Rachel Miranda; a sister, Barbara Belthoff in North Carolina; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are three step-grandchildren, Tiago, Paulo and Lydia.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at 10:30 AM in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday 7:00-9:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
