Gary Hastings Kunsman, age 63 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ, with friends and family at his side.
Born in Bethlehem, PA, July 24, 1947, he was the son of the late Austin and Margurite A. Hastings Kunsman. He was a longtime resident of the Flemington, NJ area.
He attended Roanoke College, Salem, VA and Moravian College, Allentown, PA, and graduated first in his class from the Morvan Park International Equestrian Institute, Leesburg, VA. He was an Equestrian Trainer and the owner of Four Seasons Farm where he ran horse shows for over thirty years. He was an avid outdoorsman.
In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a brother, Craig Kunsman. Surviving are three daughters, Alexandra Garrity and her husband, Mason, of Raritan Township, NJ, Kaitlin Kunsman of Bloomfield, NJ, and Kirstin Kunsman of Pittsburgh, PA; a brother Austin K. Kunsman and his wife, Martha, of Hellertown, PA; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 4 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Springtown, PA. There will be no calling hours.
