Gary Matthew Zambek

Gary Matthew Zambek, age 46 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2011 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ with his parents and friends by his side. Just before he died, his mother said to him, " I hope God will forgive you as you always forgave others five minutes later."

Born in Trenton, NJ, May 17, 1964, son of Walter Joseph and Joyce Helen Fackleman Zambek of Kingwood Township, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident. He was of the Christian faith.

Gary had waitered in a few upscale restaurants, but most of his life he worked for various moving companies.

For many years, Gary suffered from a mental illness of which many people were not aware. From time to time he had his setbacks, but his heart was always full of caring and kindness.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Hunterdon Medical Center for their care of Gary.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Mark Zambek of Baptistown, NJ.

Funeral Services will take place Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
