Gaynelle R. Lyons, age 86 years, of Yardley, PA., died Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Chandler Hall, Newtown, PA.
Born in Beaver Falls, PA., daughter of the late William and Arnetta Kerns Bailey, she had formerly resided in
Flemington, NJ for many years and had resided in Yardley since l984.
A registered nurse, she was a graduate of Geneva College and was a former member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church.
Gay was a founder of the ARC of Hunterdon and in 1964 was a founder of the Flemington Falcons Pop Warner Football Teams.
She was also a founder of the Rose Cotillion.
Gay was pre-deceased by a daughter, Robin Lyons, and her two brothers.
Surviving are five sons, Mark Lyons and Stephen Lyons, both of Yardley, PA., Matthew Lyons of Flemington, NJ, Adam Lyons of Levittown, P. and Jonathan Lyons of Hartsville, PA.; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
