George Allen Nodes

George Allen Nodes, age 66 years, of Raritan Township, NJ died on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, July 15, 1938, he was the son of the late William and Hazel Parse Nodes. He had resided in Raritan Township, NJ for the past 8 years, having previously resided in Kingwood Township, NJ.

He was a manager for US Bronze Powders, Raritan Township, NJ. He was a member of the Hunterdon Sportsmans Club, Kingwood Township, NJ.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Nodes, of Holland Township, NJ; his partner, Rosemary Dilley, of Raritan Township, NJ; two daughters, Laura Travitz, of Middlesex, NJ, and Liza Nodes, of Raritan Township, NJ; two sons, Scott Nodes, of Bloomsbury, NJ, and Cody Nodes, of Raritan Township, NJ; four brothers: Melvin Nodes, of Punta Gorda, FL, Wendell Nodes, of Alabama, Doug Nodes, of Flemington, NJ, and Ralph Nodes, of Vinton, VA; two sisters: Ginny McKimm, of Hillsborough, NJ, and Marion DeFiore, of Middlesex, NJ; five step-children: Robert Cobb, of Hazelton, PA, Debra Spressart, of Doylestown, PA, Rachel Dilley, of Frenchtown, NJ, Sara Dilley, of Frenchtown, NJ, and Lyman Dilley, of Tuscon, AZ; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
