George Ann M. Barrett, age 57 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on February 28, 2007, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, July 29, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Isabella Valewitz Brindley.
She was Accounting Manager for Hitran Corporation, Raritan Township, NJ for thirty years.
She was a member of the Frenchtown Presbyterian Church, Frenchtown, NJ, and was Church Treasurer for over fifteen years, as well as a member of the choir.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Nicholas Barrett; two sons, Joshua Barrett of Bridgewater, NJ, and Daniel Barrett of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Gus Brindley of Barnegat Light, NJ; three sisters, Lenore Roe and Isabelle Goldt, both of Neshanic Station, NJ, and Ruth Doster of Ringoes, NJ; and one grandson. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, James and Ted Brindley.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 3 PM in the Frenchtown Presbyterian Church, Frenchtown, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
