George J. Gessner

George Gessner, age 76 years, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, died Sunday, December 31, 2023, in Florida.

Born in Germany, November 7, 1947, son of the late George and Barbara Grandtner Gessner, he had resided in the Flemington area 1950-1974 and was a graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, NJ.

He was pre-deceased by his sister, Anna Marie Geherty and his brother, Martin A. Gessner.

Surviving are a niece, Kimberly Wannamaker; a nephew, Ronald Geherty and a grandniece, Elizabeth Wannamaker.

A graveside service and burial, officiated by Deacon Ted Wislinski, will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM in St. Magdalen Cemetery, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
