George Kotora

George Kotora, age 81 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Thursday, December 31, 2009 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, February 13, 1928, son of the late John and Ann Uhrenchak Kotora, he had resided in Sergeantsville, NJ since 1979, having formerly lived in Bound Brook, NJ.

A United States Navy Veteran of World War II, Mr. Kotora was a retired employee of the General Electric Space Center, Hightstown, NJ. He was a Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

Surviving are his wife, Marion Joyce Kotora; two sons, Robert Kotora of Rosemont, NJ and Michael Kotora of Lawrenceville, NJ; a brother, John Kotora of Hillsborough, NJ; a sister, Helen Reinecke of Tallahassee, FL; and one granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ. There are no calling hours and everyone is asked to meet directly at church on Tuesday.
