George Lachenmayr, Jr.

George Lachenmayr, Jr., age 83 years, of East Orange, NJ, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at East Orange Medical Center.

Born in Whitehouse Station, NJ, November 21, 1932, son of the late George and Kathe Smeenk Lachenmayr, George had formerly resided in the New Jersey towns of Flemington, Ringoes, Bridgewater, and had resided in East Orange for six years.

He was a former poultry farmer and later was a licensed real estate broker.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda Pingitore of Pittstown, NJ, and Gail Liss of Roselle, NJ; a son Richard Lachenmayr of Bloomsbury, NJ; a sister, Katie Kuster of Ringoes, NJ; and three grandchildren, Adam Lachenmayr, Graham Pingitore and Cole Pingitore.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
