George Litchko, age 82 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Sandy Run, PA, May 5, 1926, he was the son of the late John and Mary Evanich Litchko. He had formerly resided in Middlesex, NJ.
He was a lathe operator, retiring from Johns-Manville, Manville, NJ.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Boyle of Boca Raton FL; a son, George M. Litchko, of Raritan Township, NJ; two brothers, Michael Litchko of Freeland, PA, and Eddie Litchko of Galveston, TX; a sister, Martha Marshlick of Danbury, CT; and three grandchildren: Lawrence Boyle, Ryan Litchko, and Gabrielle Litchko.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
