George Thomas Munley, Jr., age 66 years, of Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ, formerly a longtime resident of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, March 28, 2014 at his home.
Born in Newark, NJ on May 27, 1947, he was the son of the late George Thomas Munley, Sr. and the late Alice Killarn Munley and was a graduate of Brick High School, Brick, NJ.
Among his activities, George was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Flemington Elks Lodge #1928, Flemington, NJ.
His wife of forty-two years, Andrea Schrimpe Munley, died in 2012.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Phillip Santos of Stewartsville, NJ, and Tara and Edward Sottong of Hamilton Township, NJ; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Josephine Munley of Miami, FL; a brother-in-law, Michael Schrimpe of Raritan Township, NJ; three grandchildren, Riley Santos, Michaley Sottong, and Alexa Sottong; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Funeral Services will take place Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery, Wall Township, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with an Elks Service at 7:30 p.m. to which all are invited.
