George Wengryn

George Wengryn, age 84 years, of Ringoes, NJ (East Amwell Township, Hunterdon County), passed away at home on Thursday, November 21, 2019.

Born in Somerville, NJ, June 2, 1935, the tenth child of Eva and Peter Wengryn, he grew up and worked on his family farm.

A dairy farmer, George held many jobs including United States Postal Service worker, Shop-Rite deli worker and worked at Janssen Pharmaceuticals.

He was pre-deceased by his wife Beulah Wengryn in 2010 and his nine siblings. Surviving are his children, Steven Wengryn and his wife Maryanne and their children, Rebecca and Cody, Raymond Wengryn and his wife Katherine and their children, Ray, Travis, Thomas and Christopher, George Wengryn and his wife Janet and their children, Kristina, Jennifer, and Amanda and Adam Wengryn and his wife Mary Lou, and one great grandchild Aryia Faune Wengryn, daughter of Thomas Wengryn.

Funeral services officiated by Rev. Chris Small will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ. Calling hours will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday From 10:00-11:00 AM in the funeral home.
