Georgina Echeverria Kubica, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Ringoes, New Jersey, on December 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 16, 1924, in Quito, Ecuador, and lived a remarkable life filled with love, strength, and resilience.

Georgina was married to Philip (David) for over 50 years and was a devoted mother to her two sons, George (Janice) Echeverri and Victor W. (Tonelly) Echeverria, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion. She is also survived by her dear brother, Milton Rodriguez, who has shared warm memories of their childhood and the bond they cherished throughout their lives. Georgina also leaves behind her grandchildren Darius (Elizabeth) Echeverria, Edrik (Jennifer) Echeverria and Nivanna Echeverria (Kenneth) Takvorian. She also had many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arturo Acosta and Isabel Andrade, who instilled in her the values of hard work, integrity, and a deep sense of family. Georgina's rich heritage and upbringing shaped her into the remarkable woman she became, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Georgina exemplified grace and resilience. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support touched the hearts of countless individuals, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to resonate with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading about current events as well as political news. 

As she embarks on her final journey, she will be remembered fondly for her wisdom, her laughter, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 from 8:30-9:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ
