Gerald T. Meyers

Gerald T. Meyers, age 74 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Ambler, PA, February 24, 1946, son of the late Heber T. and Elizabeth Sleesman Meyers, he had formerly resided in Pottstown, PA. A College of Wooster graduate, Gerald worked for Ethicon in Somerville, NJ as Director of Product Development and Research. He was a member of Volunteer Guardianship, Flemington, NJ and volunteered both for the Flemington Pioneers Football team and Flemington-Raritan Baseball and Softball teams. An avid golfer and gardener, he enjoyed bird watching in his backyard. He was a yearly visitor to Ocean City, NJ where he enjoyed spending time at the beach with his family. He is pre-deceased by one brother, William Sleesman Meyers in 2016. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Barbara Meyers; three children, Kirk Meyers and his wife, Susan of Charlotte, NC, Ryan Meyers and his wife, Gretchen of Westfield, NJ, and Whitney Eodice and her husband, James of Middlesex, NJ; and eight grandchildren, Victoria, Lincoln, Jack, Olivia, Sydney, Naomi, EJ and Josephine. A graveside service will be private in Neshanic Cemetery, Hillsborough Township, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
