Geraldine Danch

Geraldine Danch, age 92 years, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2009 at her home in the Carolina Village Care Center.

She was born in Roselle, NJ, a daughter of the late Vincent and Claudina Menchek. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband, John L. Danch, who died in 1995; a brother, Vincent Menchek, Jr.; and two sisters, Dorothy Gravlac and Nancy Bozzo.

A 1934 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ, Mrs. Danch was formerly a registered nurseears. Additisonally, she was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Hendersonville, NC and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two sons, John L. Danch, Jr. of Lake Forest, IL and Thomas A. Danch and his wife Linda of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Jean Sprince of Gettysburg, PA, Betty Bernhard of Raritan Township, NJ and Barbara Lovrinic of Lambertville, NJ; a brother, Floyd Menchek of East Amwell Township, NJ; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in Calvary Episcopal Church, 44 Broad Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
