Gerard J. Revere

Gerard J. Revere, age 74 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, November 4, 2005, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in North Arlington, NJ, March 24, 1931, he was the son of the late Henry and Esther Dillon Revere. He had formerly resided in Sparta, NJ.

He was formerly employed at the Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ, retiring in 1993.

He was a graduate of Hofstra University. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Eleanor Reid Revere; a daughter, Elizabeth Griswold, of Raritan Township, NJ; two sisters, Suzanne Egan of Manasquan, NJ, and Jane Bussell of Deactur, IL; a brother, Henry Revere, Jr., of Little Rock, AR; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Griswold.

Privete funeral services will be held under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
