Gertrude Martineau

Gertrude Martineau, of Kingwood Township, NJ died on Friday, May 30, 2008 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Gross. Her late husband, Albert “Frenchy” Martineau, died in 1987.

Gertrude was the beloved mother of Ronald and Tessie Martineau of Kingwood Township, NJ; loving “Mom” to her granddaughter Lisa and husband Carl Scheier of Frenchtown, NJ and grandson John Martineau and wife Irma of Milford, NJ; and loving “GiGi” to Great Grandchildren Carissa, Allison and Jessica.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Victories RC Church, Route 519, Baptistown, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Orange, NJ.
