Gladys F. O'Brien

Gladys F. O'Brien, age 96 years, of Clover Hill, NJ, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Gladys was born in Clover Hill, August 31, 1920, daughter of the late John and Alice Packer Fenwick, Sr., and had resided in Clover Hill all her life. Gladys was formerly employed by Neshanic Printing and by Lipton Tea, Raritan Township, NJ until retiring. She was a lifelong member of the Clover Hill Reformed Church and enjoyed gardening, lawn care and mowing with her tractor. Her husband, James O'Brien, died in 1992. Surviving are four daughters, Alice R. Houriet and her husband, John, of Willow Grove, PA., Kathleen A. Catanio and her husband, Jack, of Clover Hill, NJ, Martha E. Hoopes of Clinton, NJ and Jane M. Cordes of Wind Gap, PA.; a sister, Jean Freund of Clover Hill, NJ; nine grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 11:00 AM in Clover Hill Reformed Church, 890 Amwell Road, Clover Hill, NJ. Interment will be in Clover Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
