Gladys L. Judson, age 88 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, March 12, 2009, in Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, June 3, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Lillian Clark Metz. She had formerly resided in Plainfield, moving to Flemington, NJ in 1976.
She was a retired bookkeeper formerly employed by Blahers Photo and Stationary Store, Flemington, NJ.
She was a member and former Treasurer of the Colonel Lowrey Chapter of the DAR, Flemington, NJ, and was an avid collector of Nelson Eddy and Jeannette MacDonald memorabilia.
Her husband, Jeffrey Judson, died in 1979. Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Judson, of Flemington, NJ; two daughters, Kathleen Cook of Clinton, NJ, and Cynthia Dickerson of Solomons, MD; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
