Gladys Morse

Gladys Morse, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Country Meadows Retirement Community in Bethlehem, PA. Born Mildred Gladys Luft, February 21, 1928, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Gladys was the daughter of the late Adam Conrad and Elizabeth (Lust) Luft. After living in Clinton Township, NJ, for many years, she moved to Alexandria Township NJ in 1980. In July 2017 she moved to Country Meadows. Gladys was very involved for many years in her church, Clinton Baptist, as Sunday School teacher, Pioneer Girls leader, Mission Committee and wherever else she could serve. Gladys was also very active in supporting Ramabai Mukti Mission (now Mukti Mission, Inc.). She loved baking, especially with her grandkids. She was a talented artist and also enjoyed stained glass and wood-burning, as well as knitting and crocheting. In addition to her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her husband, John Robert Morse in 2016. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Curt and Susan Morse of Pattenburg, NJ, her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Charlie Daniel of Shermans Dale, PA, her sister, Audrey Faulkner and husband Tom of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, her three granddaughters and their husbands, Kara and Jeremy McGinniss, Lori and Geoff Cox, and Kelly and Rev. Christopher Bush, and her grandson, Evan Daniel, as well as her six great-grandchildren, Kenna, Jesse, Jax, Peighton, Colton, and Finlay, and extended family and friends in Canada, New Zealand and the US. Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Nathan Tuckey and Rev. Christopher Bush will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Road, Clinton NJ 08809. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Quakertown NJ. Calling hours will be on Monday evening, January 27, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Holclombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ.
