Glenn F. Fields, age 77 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Friday, June 9, 2023, at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Houston, Texas, August 2, 1945, son of the late Frank and Dorothy Hanes Fields, he had resided in the Flemington area since 1978.
Glenn attended Texas A & M, Texas Tech and graduated from Texas Christian University. Glenn also studied at Princeton Theological Seminary. He was proud to play the trumpet in the Texas A& M Marching Band which is one of the most renowned college university bands in the United States.
Glenn was a legal assistant at the law firm, Anderson, Kill & Olick in New York City.
In addition to his lifelong love of music (especially classical music), he enjoyed participating in several nostalgic radio groups and enjoyed magic shows which, was also a lifelong hobby of his.
Glenn was a person who loved nature and took several trips to our national parks.
His brother, Robert Fields, died in 2014.
Surviving are his son David Fields, of Flemington, NJ and his former wife, Claire Fields, also of Flemington, NJ.
Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Amy Lincoln, will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 1:30 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 20 from 12 Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
