Born in Hamden, NJ on April 20, 1936, he was the son of Franz Papenfuhs and Josephine Walecky. Mr. Papenfuhs worked as a corrections officer with the Hunterdon County Corrections Department. Gordon was survived by his wife, Nancy (Cove) Papenfuhs. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton, NJ.
