Gretchen M. Kimble

Gretchen M. Kimble, age 77 years, of Marathon, FL, died on October 14, 2005, in Kindred Hospital, Coral Gables, FL.

Born in Trenton, NJ, February 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Kristine Gorman Mount. She had previously resided in Flemington, NJ, moving to Florida in 1957.

While residing in Flemington, she was employed at the Higgins News Agency. After moving to Florida, she was the first adult to receive her high school degree from Marathon High School. She then became a bookkeeper and payroll clerk with Winn-Dixie Supermarkets.

Surviving are her husband, Lewis Kimble; a son, Bruce Kimble, of Marathon, FL; and a granddaughter, Krystal Langley, of Coral Springs, FL. A daughter, Lisa Christine Kimble, died in 2004.

Funeral Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 p.m till time of service at the Funeral Home.
