Grover Hoagland

Grover Hoagland, age 88 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, December 23, 2011 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Hillsborough Township, NJ, December 28, 1922, son of the late Mahlon and Jenny Polhemus Hoagland, he had resided in Raritan Township for the past six years, having formerly lived in Upper Black Eddy, PA and Three Bridges, NJ for many years.

A United States Army Veteran of World War II, Mr. Hoagland was formerly a Technician at Union Carbide, Bound Brook, NJ.

Surviving are a sister, Marjorie Mayberry of Cranford, NJ; a brother, Clyde Hoagland of Clearwater, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
