H. Donald Hotchkin

H. Donald Hotchkin, 71, died Friday March 3rd, 2023 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.

Don was born on December 26th, 1951 to Harold D. Hotchkin and Matilda Hotchkin residing in Three Bridges, NJ. Don graduated from Somerset County College with an Associates degree and Thomas Edison College with a Bachelor degree in Natural Science. He worked as a Director in Data Management for Bristol Myers Squibb in Lawrenceville, NJ, before retiring on his 40th anniversary in 2013.

Don's greatest joy was his family, being married to his wife Patricia for 49 years and raising his three sons, Chris, Scott and Ryan. He was involved in soccer, little league, the boy scouts and numerous other activities with the children. He also had a passion for fishing. He was a member of a local fishing club winning many trophies and awards. Over the years Don owned several boats and the family spent many vacations camping and boating on the lakes.

Don was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Matilda Hotchkin. Surviving are his wife, Patricia J. Hotchkin, three sons, Christopher J. Hotchkin of Three Bridges, Scott E. Hotchkin of Flemington, Ryan P. Hotchkin of Roanoke, VA, and a sister Lynn M. Sheard with her husband Jeff Sheard of Hopewell, NJ.

Funeral services for Don will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 8. 2023 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ 08822. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery on North Main Street in Flemington. Calling hours will be Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
