Harold John Anderson

Harold J. Anderson, age 90 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Friday, August 29, 2008 at his residence.

Born in Barbertown, NJ, September 1, 1917, he was the son of the late Orville and Susan Jardine Anderson.

He was a retired oil delivery truck driver having worked for L.K. Walton for over fifty years.

He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Grace Miller.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-eight years, Gladys Kitchin Anderson; a daughter, Linda Hargis of Gilbert, AZ; two grandchildren: Amy Hargis Bennett and Jeffrey Hargis; and two great-grandchildren, Hailee Hargis and Matthew Bennett.

Graveside Services in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 1PM under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
