Harold L. "Butch" Mathews

Harold L. "Butch" Mathews, age 59 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Monday, June 20, 2005, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Somerville, NJ, October 14, 1945, he was the son of the late Raymond and Myrtle Hann Mathews.

He worked at Hunterdon Transformer, Quakertown, NJ, for twenty-nine years.

He was a life member of the Quakertown Fire Company, Quakertown, NJ. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovas Witness, Clinton, NJ.

Surviving are his wife of thirty-five years, Doris Jean Mathews; two sisters, Marjorie B. Mathews of Quakertown, NJ, and B. Joan Mathews of Pittstown, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 1-2 PM in the funeral home.
