Harold William Breiner, age 77 years, of Holly Springs, NC, died on Thursday, September 21, 2006, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY, September 5, 1929, he was the son of the late Henry and Jeanette Heinz Breiner.

He had formerly resided in Freehold, NJ.

He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War, serving in Germany.

He was a graduate of St. John's University, New York, NY. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Colts Neck, NJ, before moving to North Carolina, where he was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Cary, NC.

He had a long career in corporate and municipal finance having worked for American Airlines, Data Saab, and Lightolier. After retitrement, he worked in the financial department for the City of Asbury Park, NJ.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Lorraine Raymond Breiner. His second wife, Dorothy Freese Breiner, died on September 23, 2006. He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Harold Breiner and wife, Loretta, of Wall Township, NJ; five daughters, Lorraine Meichtry and husband John of Wynanskill, NY, Elizabeth Henderson and husband A. William, of North Fort Myers, FL, Anna Marie Coppola and husband Peter, of Holland Township, NJ; Mary Jo Breiner and partner Sandra Jensen of Tallahassee, FL, and Jean Anne Corradino and husband James, of Palmer Township, NJ; two brothers, Charles Breiner of Troy, NY, and George Breiner of Las Vegas, NV; sixteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
