Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on January 28, 1889, she was the daughter of the late John Reamer and Sarah Jane Rake.

She was predeceased by her husband, Rollin Yard, who died in 1966.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
