Harry Walski

Harry Walski, age 75 years, of Bushkill, PA., died Thursday, April 14, 2016, in Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, May 17, 1940, son of the late John and Mary Parachuk Walski, he had formerly resided in Nutley, NJ, and had resided in Bushkill PA for eight years. He was formerly employed by Bell Telephone Co. and its' successors for thirty years, until retiring. Harry served in the US Army 1959-1962 and was a member of the American Legion Post, Bushkill, PA. An accomplished musician, he played the accordion in the Walski Brothers Orchestra for many years. Harry was an avid fisherman who also loved trains and ME-TV. Surviving are his wife, Joan Reitsperger Walski; two sons, Harry Walski. Jr and his wife, Amy, and Gregory Walski, all of Nutley, NJ; two daughters, Samantha Walski, and son-in-law, Marc Omelio of Flemington, NJ and Laura Saggau and her husband, Tony, of Belleville, NJ; a brother, John Walski of Bethlehem PA.; a sister,Sandra O'Neill, of Manchester, NJ; and two grandchildren, Corrianne Conti and Matthew Omelio. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, April 22, 2016, at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 US Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
