Harvey Garbow, age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Sunday, October 12, 2014, at his residence.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, January 17, 1929, son of the late Nathan and Ethel Garbow, he had resided in Westfield, NJ, for several years and had resided in Raritan Township for fourteen years.
Harvey was a vending machine serviceman and also formerly was a bus driver for Academy Bus Lines and Laidlaw School Bus Co.
A graduate of Flemington High School, he participated in the Mr.Fixit Program for Senior Citizens
Surviving are a son, Cary Garbow of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; a daughter, Patricia Garbow of Bedminster, NJ; a grandson, Ethan Garbow of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; a brother, Gilbert Garbow of Brooklyn, NY; and his beloved companion of fourteen years, Shirley Case of Raritan Township, NJ.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at 11:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flemington-Raritan Rescue Squad, Highway 12, Flemington, NJ.
