Hattie Costello of Neshanic Station, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2008 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

She was born January 30, 1924 in Whitehouse, NJ. Hattie spent her entire life in New Jersey, much of it in Clinton where her husband had a barber shop and she raised their children.

This quiet woman whose heart knew no bounds brought joy and love to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Hattie is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years John James (Jimmie) Costello; son Louie Costello; parents Alexander and Lottie Dyko Sadorski; brothers Anthony, Stanley, Joseph, and John Sadorski; sisters Sophie Stubbe and Theresa Pentlicki; and son-in-law Steve Barbon.

Those surviving with heavy hearts, but better people for the bright sunshine she brought into their lives include children James Costello and wife Trish, Anna Barbon, John Costello, Jr. and wife Lisa, Robert Costello and partner Donna; Lois Lewis and husband Hank, and Lori DeJesus; grandchildren Danica, Jaime, Hank, Jr., Ryan, Brittany, Bo, Solona, Cody, Chenoah, Amanda, Nicki, and Robert Jr.; great grandchildren Tori, Gage, and Jordan; and sisters Helen Desrosiers, Frances Bolmer and husband Howard, and Dorothy Micco and husband George, plus numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Clinton, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton, NJ. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
