Hazel M. Harrison

Hazel M. Harrison, age 89 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, in the Rolling Hills of Hunterdon Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.

Born in Croton, NJ, September 6, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Lambert and Anna Cripps Barrick.

She and her late husband, Alfred, operated a dairy farm for many years. She was a charter member of the East Amwell Senior Citizens, and a member of the Calvary Brethren Church, Pittstown, NJ. She recently worshipped at the Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Ringoes, NJ.

Her husband, Alfred Harrison, Sr., died in 1997. She was also pre-deceased by a sister, Mary Stein, a brother, Lambert Barrick, Jr., and a step-brother, Raymond Kerr. Surviving are two daughters; Betty Leverton, and husband Richard, of West Amwell Township, NJ, and Barbara Dennis, and husband Larry, of Daleville, VA; two sons; John C. Harrison, and wife Betty Jane, of East Amwell Township, NJ; and Alfred Harrison, and wife Terry Lee, of Flemington, NJ; two sisters; Esther Kopf of Virginia Beach, VA, and Viola Marion of Three Bridges, NJ; two step-sisters; Charlotte Ryan of Hammonton, NJ, and Florence Knoster of Sergeantsville, NJ; two step-brothers; Joseph R. Kerr, Jr. of Flemington, NJ, and Bernard J. Kerr of Flemington, NJ; seven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 3 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-3 PM in the funeral home.
