Hazel M. Leo

Hazel M. Leo, age 89 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at her home.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, July 7, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Myrtle LaCosta Godwin.

She was a former Country Club catering manager and homemaker.

Her husband, Anthony Leo, died in 2006. Surviving are a daughter, Gail Cardaci of Flemington, NJ; a son, Edward Foster of Belmar, NJ; a stepson, Anthony Leo of Bergen County, NJ; two sisters, Jeanette Gmuer of Danbury, CT and Irene Faifer of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
