Heinz Katmann

Heinz Katmann, age 74 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Oldenburg, Germany, February 15, 1932, he had resided in Raritan Township over forty years.

He was formerly the Owner and Proprietor of Heinz & Rita's Bar, now known as Errico's, on Rt. 12 in Frenchtown, NJ from 1968 till retiring in 1998. Prior to that, he was a truck driver for George Transfer Company, Flagtown, NJ for many years.

An avid fisherman, he was a longtime member of the Flemington Moose Lodge, Flemington, NJ.

Surviving are his life partner of forty-five years, Rita Corwin; two sons, Richard Hargrave of Hillsborough Township, NJ and Christopher Hargarve of Bradenton, FL; two daughters, Connie Fisher of Camas Valley, OR and Nancy Coatman of Greeley, CO; a brother, Ralf Katmann of Kingwood Tonwship, NJ; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Another son, William Hargrave, died in 2002.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ.
