Helen Culberson

Helen J. Culberson, age 87 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at her residence.

Born June 16, 1920, daughter of the late William S. and Jane Blagbro Fisher, she was a lifelong resident of Delaware Township.

She was Manager of the Delaware Township School Cafeteria for thirty three years and later worked an additional thirteen years in the food service industry.

Mrs. Culberson was a member of the Flemington Elks Auxiliary; the Red Hat Party Timers; the East Amwell Seniors; the Good Sam/Wandering Gypsies Camping Clubs; and the Sergeantsville Fire Company Auxiliary.

Her husband, George A. Culberson, died in 1997.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Trautman of Stockton, NJ and Georgia "Pinky" Culberson of Flemington, NJ; four grandchildren, Tracey Trautman, Eric Trautman, Teresa Galoppo and Joey Fink; two sisters, Eleanor Russo of Long Island, NY and Florence "Barney" Burenga of Pennington, NJ and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ.
