Helen Galambos, age 96 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, August 5, 2005, in Eastern Pines Convalescent Center, Atlantic City, NJ.

Born in West Orange, NJ, April 8, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine Bali Zenkl.

She was a homemaker, and she was employed in the 1930's by Prudential Insurance Company, Newark, NJ.

She was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed sharing her garden products with friends and neighbors. She always had positive things to say about people and she will be missed by all.

Her husband, Edward Galambos, died in 1993, and she was pre-deceased by her brothers, Charles and Joseph Zenkl, and a sister, Ann Zenkl Rice. She is survived by a daughter, Norma Sellers of Fenwick Island, DE; two sons, Thomas E. Galambos of Raritan Township, NJ, and James A. Galambos of New York; four grandchildren; Catherine Jordan of Atlantic City, NJ, Gloria Weg of Howell, NJ, Thomas E. Galambos, Jr. of Shohola, PA, and Connie McCaw of Pennsylvania; and four great-grandchildren; Mathew, Timothy, and Christopher Weg, and Seneca McCaw; and three sisters; Valeria Forgione of Union, NJ, Catherine Behlert of Pipersville, PA, and Christine Petty of Toms River, NJ.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 9:15-10:15 AM in the funeral home.
