Helen Garbus Susalis, age 89 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Linden, NJ, daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Hrimezila Garbus, she had resided in Readington Township since 1954 after having grown up in the Linden area.
A homemaker, she also owned and operated View Acres Farm Stand on Route 523 in Readington Township along with her husband of over sixty years, Nicholas Susalis, Sr.
Nicholas died in 2005. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was pre-deceased by five siblings, Adolf, Stella, Walter and Eddie Garbus and Frances Slovik.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas, Jr. and Diane Susalis of Readington Township, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Norman Miller, of Raritan Township, NJ; and a grandson, Bryan Miller, of Raritan Township, NJ.
Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
