Helen Hudzik

Helen Hudzik, age 84 years, of Hillsborough, NJ died on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at Summerville at Hillsborough, Hillsborough Township, NJ, where she resided.

Born in Garfield, NJ, June 26, 1921, daughter of the late Martin and Katherine Sudol Janusz, she had resided in Hillsborough, NJ since May of this year. She had previously resided in Pittstown, NJ, Mahwah, NJ and Fairlawn, NJ.

She worked for a number of years at Electric Specialty Company, Paterson, NJ and then went on to own and operate Godwin Lighting, Ramsey, NJ.

Her husband, Walter Hudzik, died in 1986.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Cichonski of Franklin Township, NJ and Barbara Kuckhoff of Acworth, GA; a brother, Emil Janusz of Clifton, NJ; and four grandchildren, Elisabeth Cichonski of Franklin Township, NJ and Thomas, Robert and Katherine Kuckhoff, all of Acworth, GA.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 98 Sky Manor Road, Pittstown, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Church of the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Montgomery, NY. Calling hours will be held Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
