Helen J. (Honey) Wasilewski, age 80 years, of Laurel, DE, died Friday, July 21, 2017, at Atlantic Care, Atlantic City, NJ.
Born in Trenton, NJ, July 21, 1937, daughter of the late Milton and Vera Chilmonik Mount, she had formerly resided in the Flemington area most of her life. A resident of Laurel, DE since 2000, Honey was formerly employed by NJ Telephone Company, Flemington, NJ.
An avid animal lover, she was especially fond of her two black labrador retrievers, "Mandy & Sheena," who survive her.
Her husband, Walter Wasilewski, died in 2015 and a son, Walter Sine, Jr., died in 2003. She was also pre-deceased by her brothers, Clyde and Richard Mount and her sisters, Marion Moore and Marylee Boone.
Surviving are a son, John Wasilewski of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; a brother, John Mount of Flemington, NJ; four sisters, Patricia McCreery of Williams Township, PA., Tracey Schultz of Clinton, NJ; Joann Kusant and Debra Panko, both of Delaware Township, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27,2017, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday 7:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home.
