Helen M. Dibella

Helen M. Dibella, age 97 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died Thursday, May 5, 2016 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, February 3, 1919, daughter of the late John M. and Elsie Hische Kirk, she was formerly from Rahway, NJ.

A homemaker, she lived in Rahway for 60 years before moving to the Hunterdon County area in 2013.

She was predeceased by her husband John T. Dibella in 1986. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara J. Danatos of Rahway, NJ, and Denise Anderson of Annandale, NJ; three sons, John D. Dibella of Centennial, CO, Kirk F. Dibella of Rahway, NJ, and Alan M. Dibella of Hamilton Township, NJ; one brother, John Kirk of South Orange, NJ; one sister-in-law, Josephine Silano Kirk of South Orange, NJ; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1:00- 5:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

Memorial contributions in Helen’s name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
