Helen M. Hain, age 80 years, of Shaftsbury, VT, died Friday, July 5, 2024, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH.

Born in Middletown, NY, December 10, 1943, daughter of the late Richard and Helen Paashaus Wolf, Helen had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ for twenty-five years and had resided in Shaftsbury, VT for the past twenty-three years.

While residing in Flemington, Helen was a member, deacon and Sunday School teacher at the Flemington Presbyterian Church. She was also formerly President of the Women’s Association of the church and a member of its’ Worship Commission.

She was also a member of the Gideon Bible Auxiliary and the Cotswold Sheep Breeding Association.

Helen was formerly employed as a secretary for AT&T and Western Electric for fourteen years.

Surviving are her husband, W. Robert Hain; a daughter, Laura Hain of Shaftsbury, VT, and a son, Robert Hain of California.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ with Rev. Amy Lincoln officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Flemington Presbyterian Church, 10 East Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
