Helen M. Williamson

Helen M. Williamson, age 96 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, March 1, 2007 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born December 1, 1910 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Richard E. and Elizabeth Scott Harding, she had resided in the Hunterdon County area for the past seven years, having previously lived in Thornwood, NY.

A Bookkeeper with Rose Cleaners in New York, she retired at age sevety-five after working for over fifty-four years with the same company.

A former member of the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church in New York, she was also a longtime member and Past President of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Chappaqua, NY.

Her husband, Frank E. Williamson, died in 1999 after sixty-eight years of marriage. Mrs. Williamson was also pre-deceased by one sister and three brothers.

Survivng are a daughter and son-in-law, Betty C. Vogel and Christopher C. Vogel, Jr. of East Amwell Township, NJ; two granddaughters; and one niece.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
