Helen O. Wolfertz

Helen O. Wolfertz, age 92 years, died of natural causes on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at her home in Rosemont, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, September 7, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Thorvald and Gerta Pedersen Ommundsen.

She graduated from Bay Ridge High School having been enrolled in an academic program affiliated with the Art Student League of New York. Artistic drawing and painting remained one of her life-long interests.

Mrs. Wolfertz was a fifty year member of Melchior Chapter #131, O.E.S., located in Andover Township, NJ.

Her husband, Ernest Wolfertz, died in 1989. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert M. and Lynda H. Wolfertz also of Rosemont, NJ; and a granddaughter, Sara Y. Wolfertz, of Philadelphia, PA.

Following funeral and worship services in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ on Friday, June 18, 2010, interment was in Tranquility Cemetery, Tranquility, NJ.
